We value our collaboration with SAMRIDH as it tailored its support to fit Jeevtronic’s growth journey and didn’t follow a one-size-fits-all approach. SAMRIDH provided not only financial assistance but also technical expertise to address the unique challenges we faced in navigating the ecosystem. Through this partnership, we have been able to expand our reach into underserved markets, cultivate our marketing strategy, and enhance our products through advanced research and development efforts.
Samridh support
SAMRIDH’s partnership with Jeevtronics involved providing milestone-based funding to enhance the sales and distribution activities of SanMitra 1000 HCT Biphasic Defibrillator. This support was complemented by business advisory services to help Jeevtronics in developing a robust commercial strategy for boosting market presence and building a steady order pipeline. This partnership enabled the enterprise to meet new orders and achieve a business model for long-term sustainability and expansion to low-resourced hospitals. Additionally, SAMRIDH provided technical assistance to help Jeevtronics reach underserved markets and improve its products through R&D efforts. The support resulted in the introduction of Triple-Powered Trishul, which features energy sources including AC main, battery, and manual crank.

Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a life-threatening condition where the heart suddenly stops, often resulting in death. COVID-19 patients with SCA face higher risks than those without the virus. Managing cardiac arrests and arrhythmias often requires a ‘defibrillator’, a medical device that restores normal heart rhythm by applying a high voltage shock across the heart. Unfortunately, most Indian hospitals lack access to defibrillators. Additionally, since trauma patients are at greater risk of cardiac arrest, it’s crucial for trauma ambulances to be equipped with defibrillators. However, only about 25% of ambulances in India are equipped with defibrillators, 5 mainly due to high battery costs, unreliable electricity, poor device quality, and affordability issues.

Jeevtronics offers the SanMitra 1000 HCT Biphasic Defibrillator, which is India’s first dual-powered hand-cranked defibrillator. This innovative life-saving device features dual power sources—AC mains and manual crank—ensuring operational readiness even in areas lacking electricity. It charges from the AC mains in just 6-7 seconds and is priced at less than 25% of conventional defibrillators. Its longevity, affordability, and electricity-free operation empower healthcare workers to deliver quality care and prevent avoidable deaths. With SAMRIDH’s support, Jeevtronics is also working on product to enhance benefits, reduce costs, and improve accessibility for end-users.
