Samridh support

SAMRIDH’s financial assistance has enabled CDL to procure and deploy 2,500 Padma Vitals devices at district level hospitals, community health centers, and primary health centers. The enhanced sales has helped CDL to generate the required cash flows to support its operations and build additional Padma Vital devices that will be deployed in hospitals located in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. SAMRIDH has further been catalytic in augmenting CDL’s business capabilities by strengthening its marketing and sales effort towards reaching out to more potential partners and customers for demos and trials. This has led CDL to achieve a leverage of 6x on the financial assistance received from SAMRIDH.

Hospitals, in semi urban and rural regions of India, are invariably under-resourced and lack access to sophisticated medical equipment and devices to monitor patients suffering from serious ailments. Additionally, they do not have trained staff to interpret data that can enable them to make informed decisions about patients. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated these challenges and created a demand for reliable remote monitoring systems that would minimize the risk of exposure to the coronavirus and allow medical specialists to monitor multiple patients simultaneously from anywhere in the world.

Padma Vitals | Telemetric Patient Monitoring System

Developed by Cardiac Design Labs, Padma Vitals is a centralised monitoring system for ECG, respiration, Spo2 and body temperature. In addition to a wearable device that collects data from the patient, it consists of algorithms that analyse the data and an interface for the healthcare providers to access and analyse the data of multiple patients. It deploys intelligent systems that enable automatic remote reporting, saving both time and costs, and allows healthcare workers anywhere in the world to monitor patient vitals remotely via cloud services. By saving the physicians’ time and facility resources, it enables them to focus on the most critically ill. Designed to reduce the pressure on healthcare facilities through structured monitoring, Padma Vitals is an ideal and timely solution to boost hospital capacities.
